Black Draping and Red Petals...

Remember the draping you learned in the Fondant and Gum Paste Course? Here is an example of that draping done in Black Chocolate Fondant. Another Grouse Mountain Wedding Cake...

The previous post was about a wedding cake delivered to Grouse Mountain, and it brought back some memories of another wedding cake that was also delivered to Grouse Mountain... It was a winter wedding, and the cake was decorated with snowflakes... it looked so delicate and kind of magic... The wedding was a whimsical winter theme, where everything was white and sparkly, reminding you of a perfect winter landscape... stunning! One more of Angela Girard's perfect weddings...

Sweet Stanley Cup...

I must say this Stanley Cup will be forever in my mind... I loved the whole concept, but apart from that, delivery was quite something... The wedding was in Grouse Mountain! So, we had to take the Skyride... Quite something! But luckily, it was a fine day, everybody in the Skyride was quite cheerful, and helpful, asking questions about the cake, taking pictures... lovely ride!



Anyhow, we made it, everything went fine and the cake looked beautiful!

Happy Birthday to me...!

Today is my birthday! Yeah! Another excuse to eat CAKE! Yes!!!

While I was out this morning...

I went out for some exercise this morning, and then I decided to take a break, ...some nice coffee, a couple of phone calls... I never realized I had company! It's just a sugar world...!

A Chocolate Wedding Dress...!

Real chocolate! It was designed by Ian Stuart and Rococo Chocolates for Chocolate Week, and the design even included a delicious hat. Can you imagine if the wedding is on a very hot summer day? Anyhow, it looks delicious!

Kind of reminds me of the profiterole wedding dress, created by Ukranian chef Vaneltyn Shtefano, some time ago...
