Christmas Workshops at Michaels, West Vancouver

Amaretto Cake...

This Amaretto cake is one of my favourite cakes with liqueur, really nice... Hope you like it, too!

Ingredients

2 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp of vanilla
1 tsp of almond extract
1 cup of canola oil
½ cup of buttermilk
2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
3 tbs of ground almond
1 ½ tsp baking soda
1 ½ tsp baking powder
¼ cup of Amaretto

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease two 9” cake pans.
2. Beat eggs, sugar, vanilla and almond extract until well combined. Add oil and buttermilk.
3. Add next 4 dry ingredients. Mix well until combined.
4. Add Amaretto until batter is smooth. Pour into prepared pans.
Bake for 25 – 30 minutes.
