Figure skater...Isn't she lovely?

I love this cake. The best part of it was when I delivered it, there was a little girl there... she looked at the cake and was so impressed... She finally looked at me, and said: "That is a huge cupcake"... I just loved it! She made my day!

How to make a cute fondant penguin...

Start by using a small amount of fondant and giving it the shape of a pear. With a pair of scissors, cut both wings... Now, it's time for his white eyes and tummy... Just one piece of white fondant will do...
And finally, with some orange coloured fondant, form his beak and feet. Paint his eyes, and voila! A really cute penguin!

Ready for Club Penguin! Let's go and play!

A world of my own...

Spring is coming...!

This lovely watering can was a chocolate cake covered in buttercream. I used the flowers from Course 2, in Royal Icing, to decorate and give it that special spring touch...

Amanda's Apple Cake

Finally, Amanda, I found the recipe...

Ingredients
2 cups of sugar
1 1/2 cups of vegetable oil
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 ts baking soda
1 ts salt
1 ts ground cinnamon
3 cups peeled, diced cooking apples
1 cup chopped pecans

1. Combine sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl; beat about 1 minute at medium speed of electric mixer.
2. Combine 2 1/2 cups flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add to sugar mixture, beating at low speed of electric mixer until blended.
3. Dredge apples and pecans in remaining 1/2 cup of flour, fold into batter.
4. Spoon batter into a 10" tube pan or two 8" greased pans. Bake at 325 degrees.

It goes really well with cream cheese icing... Picture via Madeline Strum
