The magic dragon...

Happy birthday, David!  It was a pleasure to make this dragon cake for David's 50th birthday.  A chocolate cake with layers of ganache and raspberry.

A close-up of his face shows how the dragon was covered in fondant and then painted with edible gold and silver dust.
